Deep in The Sierra mountains of California amongst the granite and pine
From my exhibition 'Beyond the Trail' inspired by my hike across The United States on the Pacific Crest Trail
Oil on Canvas, 71 x 35 cm
Finalist of 2026 West Torrens Art Prize
From the rooftops of West Torrens, I watched the sunset transform the sky into a canvas of colour and light. With this new perspective I celebrate the beauty of my home. I aim to show how the everyday can hold wonder when we pause and connect to the world around.

About me
I’m a painter inspired by landscape, movement, and time spent outdoors. My recent collection grew out of a long distance hike across the United States, where each piece became a way of holding onto a place, a feeling, or a moment along the trail.
Working primarily in oil, I’m drawn to colour, texture, and the quiet shifts in light that define a landscape. My work sits somewhere between memory and observation not exact replicas, but impressions shaped by experience.
Each painting is created slowly and intentionally, inviting you to pause, reflect, and connect with the natural world in your own way.
